Vineet Banga

Vineet Banga is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Google since May 2019, Vineet focuses on Google Identity with an emphasis on security and privacy. Prior to this role, Vineet was the CTO at INCX Inc., where responsibility included developing a next-generation trading platform. At GE Digital, Vineet held multiple leadership positions over a decade, including VP of Software Engineering for the Predix platform, which supports industrial-scale analytics and connectivity. Vineet's career also includes significant roles at Brocade Communications and Amdocs. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering, both from San José State University.
