Vithal Shirodkar

Vithal Shirodkar currently serves as Vice President and General Manager at Google since March 2024. Previously, Vithal was Senior Vice President at Oracle from May 2016 to February 2024, leading networking services within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and overseeing various products such as VCN, FastConnect, and VPN. Prior to Oracle, Vithal held the position of Senior Manager at Amazon Web Services from 2012 to 2016, directing network product development and the internal switch/router business. Vithal began a career at Cisco Systems, working in software development and engineering roles from 2000 to 2012, and held earlier positions at Penn State University, Novell, and Defence Avionics Research Establishment. Vithal holds an MS in Computer Science and Engineering from Penn State University and a BE in Computer Science and Engineering from B. M. S. College of Engineering.
