Vivek Kwatra is a Senior Staff Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, having transitioned to this role in 2024 after serving as a Staff Research Scientist at Google since 2007. They completed a Ph.D. at Georgia Institute of Technology, where they were also a Graduate Student and Research Assistant from 1999 to 2005. Following this, Vivek held a position as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at UNC Chapel Hill from 2005 to 2007. They earned a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and have a solid educational foundation that includes high school at St. Annes Convent School in Chandigarh and senior secondary studies at DAV College, Chandigarh.
