Vivek Sampathkumar

Vivek Sampathkumar is an accomplished economist with a diverse background in data science and research. Vivek served as an Economist at The Burning Glass Institute from October 2022 to November 2023, and previously held the position of Research Associate at Columbia Business School from July 2012 to April 2014. Following this, Vivek worked as a Statistician at Yale University from May 2014 to August 2015, and subsequently pursued a PhD at Princeton University from August 2015 to May 2022. Vivek is set to join Google as a Data Scientist - Research in November 2023, transitioning into the role of Senior Research Data Scientist. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, a Master of Science from The University of Chicago, and a Doctor of Philosophy from Princeton University.
