Vivien Chen is a skilled software engineer with a diverse background in research and development, particularly in human-computer interaction and user experience design. Experience includes a research internship at Wellesley College's Human Computer Interaction Lab, where Vivien implemented innovative projects related to synthetic biology and contributed to a Gold Medal-winning exhibit for the iGEM Competition. Further experience at MIT Media Lab involved iterating on user experience for Scratch Microworlds, while an internship at Adobe Research focused on curating a large dataset for analyzing image transformations.
