Vlad Grama

Vlad Grama has a robust background in technology, beginning with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, completed in 2006. Experience includes serving as a Systems and Applications Administrator at Centrul National de Tehnologia Informatiei from 2002 to 2006, where responsibilities included UNIX systems and Java applications administration, along with co-authoring and teaching courses on UNIX System Administration. Vlad transitioned to Google in 2006, initially as a Site Reliability Engineer in Ireland until 2010, focusing on capacity planning and infrastructure scalability. Currently, as an Engineering Manager since April 2010, Vlad leads teams developing the distributed systems supporting YouTube's video storage, processing, and streaming, successfully managing approximately 30 engineers throughout this role.
