Wael Refaat possesses extensive experience in software design and security engineering. Initially working as a Software Designer at Tandem Computers from April 2005 to August 2008, Wael enhanced system configuration services. A tenure at Oracle from September 2008 to August 2013 involved designing and debugging database security, including integrating authentication systems. Following this, Wael served as a Security Engineer at Google from September 2013 to July 2017, developing security protocols and identifying vulnerabilities. Subsequently, the role of Security Program Manager was undertaken, overseeing security initiatives in alignment with policies and regulations. Currently, Wael works as an Administrative Assistant at Orascom Construction PLC since July 2005. Wael holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from جامعة القاهرة (Cairo University) and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
