Wei Yang

Wei Yang has a strong background in software engineering and research, with experience in multiple prestigious organizations. Wei began as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, contributing to a multi-domain graph-clustering model under Prof. Saurabh Sinha. Following this, Wei worked as a Software Engineer at Samsung Electronics America, focusing on machine learning models for continuous authentication and security systems. Wei advanced to roles at Google, where efforts centered on enhancing Generative AI for Google Ads. Previous tenure at Facebook involved improving ad ranking models through advanced machine learning techniques, as well as contributions to the PyTorch deep learning framework. Wei holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and Bioinformatics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from South China University of Technology.
