Weidong Yuan

Weidong Yuan has a robust background in computer science, with experience spanning various prestigious institutions and companies. At Harbin Institute of Technology, Weidong contributed as a Research Team Member on the Approximate Subgraph Matching algorithm for billion-node graphs, leveraging distributed computation. Following this, an internship at Microsoft involved further research and performance enhancement of the same algorithm. A summer internship at Tecumseh Vision focused on applying machine learning techniques for diagnosing Age Related Macular Degeneration using OCT images. Currently, Weidong serves as a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, specializing in Natural Language Processing, while also working as a Software Engineer at Google. With a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Harbin Institute of Technology and a master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University, Weidong has maintained a strong academic record, achieving high honors at both institutions.
