Weilong Yang

Weilong Yang is currently a Principal Engineer at Google, focusing on large recommendation models and content understanding for recommendations. They previously held the position of Director and Principal Engineer at Waymo, where they led a team in perception technology and developed advanced machine learning models. Earlier, Yang completed a PhD at Simon Fraser University, publishing multiple papers in prominent computer vision and machine learning conferences. Their experience also includes valuable roles at Google Research and participation in significant projects related to video tagging and YouTube features.
