William DeRousse

William DeRousse is an experienced hardware design engineer with a robust background in electronics and hardware development, having worked for leading companies such as Google, Nest, Loon, Amazon Lab126, and Fitbit. In current responsibilities as Hardware Lead at Google, DeRousse focuses on developing mapping and vision hardware for Google Maps. Previous roles include providing EE leadership at Nest and Loon, as well as significant contributions at Amazon Lab126, where innovative designs for flexible printed circuits and PCBA were implemented for Amazon Kindle devices. DeRousse's career is marked by expertise in schematic design, component selection, and collaboration across interdisciplinary teams.
