Winton Steward

Winton Steward, MA, has extensive experience in government affairs and public policy, currently serving as the Head of Government Affairs and Public Policy for Google in the Midwest since May 2022. Prior roles include Government Affairs Specialist at Gopuff, where Winton influenced local and state legislation impacting business, and Midwest Regional Outreach Director at AIPAC, where Winton led advocacy initiatives and increased lobbying efforts. As a Campus Political Director, Winton developed innovative engagement models for student leadership, significantly enhancing participation in historically black colleges. Earlier experience includes a successful tenure as a Terry McAuliffe Campaign Field Organizer with NextGen America, achieving record voter registration and event participation. Winton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Alabama State University, a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago, and an Associate's degree in General Studies from Butler Community College.
