Xianwang Wang has extensive experience in computer science, particularly in image understanding through large scale machine learning and deep learning. Xianwang Wang began a career as a Research Assistant at the Center of Visualization and Virtual Environment (CVVE) at the University of Kentucky from August 2005 to July 2010, followed by a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Researcher at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories from August 2010 to April 2012. Currently, Xianwang Wang serves as a Software Engineer at Google since October 2014. Additional experience includes an internship at Epson R&D Inc. from May 2009 to August 2009. Xianwang Wang holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Sichuan University.
