Xiao Zhang is a Software Engineer at Google since September 2025, working on Gmail AI, and also serves as a Research Collaborator at the Vector Institute. Prior experience includes being an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Toronto from September 2024 to April 2025, where EngSci Thesis work was conducted, and several internships at Google, including roles in Google Workspace and Google Chrome, as well as a Software Developer Intern position at RBC. Additional involvement includes participation in the Google CSSI program and serving as Innovation Developer at RBC. Xiao Zhang organized YRHacks and was an alumni of Shad Canada. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science at the University of Toronto, education began with a High School Diploma in Computer Science from Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School.
