Xin Bao

Xin Bao is a results-driven professional with over 24 years of experience in CAD and design automation, primarily at Qualcomm. As a Senior Director of Technology in CAD, they led global teams to develop comprehensive front-end design flows that became standardized across Qualcomm’s SoC projects, enhancing chip quality and efficiency. Known for pioneering innovations such as the SoC partition flow and flop tray merging flow, Xin's contributions have significantly reduced die sizes and power consumption in multiple chip generations. Currently, they serve as the Global Front-end CAD Lead at Google while pursuing a Master’s Degree in Computer Science at the University of California, Riverside.
