Xinxing Gu

Xinxing Gu has extensive experience in the technology sector, beginning with a role as a Research Intern at IBM in 2006, focusing on Java VM memory management. A Software Engineer Intern position at Google followed in 2007, where backend development for Google Shenghuo Search was conducted. Xinxing Gu also served as a Program Manager Intern at Microsoft in 2008, contributing to the Open XML SDK v2 through usability studies and community development. Since 2009, Xinxing Gu has been a Product Manager at Google, overseeing several key projects including Google Translate, Google Play's publishing strategy and applications, Google Search quality, and Google Maps’ Transit Search. Xinxing Gu holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Computer Science & Technology from Peking University and completed the Google - Haas Business Training for Product Managers at UC Berkeley.
