Xinyu (Alex) Tang has a strong background in engineering leadership and software development. They built and led the China rider team at Uber from 2014 to 2018 and were instrumental in developing various platforms for driver engagement and experimentation. Prior to Uber, Xinyu contributed as a software engineer at Pinterest and gained significant experience at Google, where they are currently a Tech Lead Manager and Senior Staff Engineer, having previously been a founding member of Google Adwords Express. Xinyu earned their research accolades as a graduate student at Texas A&M University and has published numerous works in the field. They are currently pursuing advanced degrees in Computer Science at both Zhejiang University and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
