Xue Tu is a highly skilled professional in electrical and computer engineering, with a robust background in camera technology and imaging systems. Xue began a career with a summer internship at Avid Technology in 2006, followed by a role as a research assistant at the Computer Vision Lab at SUNY Stony Brook, where projects included a multi-stereo camera system and compact camera auto-focus. From 2009 to 2014, Xue served as a Senior Applied Research Engineer at Sony Electronics, contributing to 3DTV and camera auto-focus projects. Since 2014, Xue has been working as a Software Engineer at Google, focusing on Android camera imaging. Xue holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from State University of New York at Stony Brook.
