Ya-Chen Hsieh

Ya-Chen Hsieh is a professional with a strong background in software engineering and development. As a Co-Founder of HackNTU, Ya-Chen initiated the first college-level Hackathon in Taiwan, promoting educational values and evolving the event into a non-profit organization at National Taiwan University. Currently, as a Software Engineer at Google since March 2016, Ya-Chen has worked on Google Assistant and Google Search infrastructure, contributing to various integration and indexing projects. Prior experience includes an internship as an iOS Developer at CliPick INC., where Ya-Chen developed the initial version of an iOS application and focused on UI/UX design. Ya-Chen holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management from National Taiwan University, attaining impressive GPAs of 3.75 and 3.93, respectively.
