Yael Vilk

Yael Vilk is a skilled data scientist with extensive experience in algorithm engineering, data analysis, and bioinformatics. Previously employed at BreezoMeter, now part of Google, Yael enhanced air-quality and pollen products utilizing scientific programming, applied statistics, and machine learning techniques. Prior to this, Yael contributed as a data analyst in the IDF, focusing on statistical planning and research of recruitment data, and as a bioinformatics scientist at Evogene, where work involved developing NGS and machine-learning pipelines and designing statistical models for decision-making in microbiome-based products. Currently, Yael holds a data scientist position at Google and possesses a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel and a Master’s Degree in Neurobiology from the Weizmann Institute of Science.
