Yang Binyuan is the Head of Communications for Greater China at Google, with a progressive career spanning 30 years in broadcasting and media communications. They previously served as the Head of Corporate at Weber Shandwick Beijing and led the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics bid project. Yang was also the Head of Broadcast for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Organising Committee and Secretary-General of the International Broadcast Centre during those games. They co-founded China’s first 24/7 News Radio and have covered significant national and international events, including the Olympic Games and the handover of Hong Kong and Macau. Additionally, Yang held the position of Bureau Chief at China Radio International in Sydney, Australia, and served as Director of the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development. Yang earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Peking University.
