Yang Gu

Yang Gu is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in various aspects of data science and software development. Beginning with a degree in Automatic Control Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, followed by advanced studies at Carnegie Mellon University in Computer Science, Yang's professional journey includes positions at CityGrid Media, Google, CSoft International, DVA-Tion, and Scopely. At CityGrid Media, contributions included budget optimization and click-through rate prediction using large scale Bayesian models. As a lead data scientist at Scopely, Yang excelled in predictive modeling, natural language processing, and customer segmentation, while successfully implementing advanced strategies in machine learning and data analytics. Currently, at Google, Yang focuses on content information retrieval and multi-label classification evaluation.
