Yanting Zhang is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in hardware and bioengineering. Yanting began a career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Collaborative Biotechnologies (ICB) at UC Santa Barbara in 2006, followed by a role as Senior BioMEMS Engineer at Cytomx LLC until 2009. Subsequently, Yanting served as Development Engineer and Program Manager at Innovative Micro Technology until 2011, before taking on the position of Sr. Design Engineer/Senior Staff Engineer at Lumedyne Technologies Inc. from 2011 to 2014. Since November 2014, Yanting has been a Sr. Hardware Engineer at Google. Yanting holds a PhD in MEMS/BioMEMS from UC Santa Barbara, an MS in Bioheat Transfer from the Technical Institute of Physics & Chemistry at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
