Yarong Mu

Yarong Mu is an accomplished Senior Staff Software Manager at Google since March 2013, drawing upon a robust background in software development and research. Prior to this role, Yarong served as a Senior Software Developer at Bloomberg L.P. from August 2010 to March 2013 and contributed as a Research Collaborator at General Atomics, where efforts included the configuration and analysis of edge diagnostics on DIII-D and collaboration with national laboratories on fusion experiments. Yarong earned a PhD in Plasma Physics and Nuclear Fusion from the University of Toronto, where research involved advanced modeling software and analysis of experimental data, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Modern Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
