Yi Cao is a staff software engineer at Google, where they lead a team focused on enhancing reliability, availability, and serviceability for internal customers. Previously, they served as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Washington and completed a software engineering internship at CloudBrain. Yi holds a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Caltech, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Tsinghua University.
