Yi Gao

Yi Gao is a seasoned engineering leader at Google, bringing over 15 years of industry experience in developing large-scale applications to address complex business challenges with a strategic product focus. Previously, Yi worked at Microsoft, contributing to various roles including Lead Software Design Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, where they maintained high availability and enhanced system performance. At Tableau, Yi managed multiple engineering teams and drove development for key licensing and identity services. Yi holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Miami, where they achieved a perfect GPA, and a Bachelor's degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, graduating first in their class.
