Yifan Cao

Yifan Cao is a seasoned product management professional currently serving as a Group Product Manager at Google since September 2024, focusing on the transition from research to production. Prior to this role, Yifan held the position of Senior Manager of Product Management at Cruise from September 2021 to September 2024, where responsibilities included accelerating end-to-end machine learning product development using a systematic, workflow-driven approach. Yifan's experience also includes a role as Product Lead for the Data Infrastructure team at Apple, and as a Senior Product Manager at Databricks, where contributions involved ML infrastructure and the development of rapidly growing products. Earlier career achievements include driving the productization of a Predictive Maintenance application at AutoGrid.
