Yilin Ma has a strong background in software engineering, with experience spanning multiple prestigious companies. As an undergrad technical intern at Intel Corporation from September 2018 to February 2019, Yilin developed a web-based auto-annotation tool. During a software engineer internship at WePay in June 2020, Yilin contributed to the development of a microservice for paper check payouts and later took on a software engineer role, focusing on a next-generation money movement engine by building a distributed engine capable of job management and implementing an optimistic locking mechanism. Since May 2022, Yilin has been working as a software engineer at Google, specializing in media solutions. Yilin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from Chongqing University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University.
