Yiming Guo is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and research. At Akamai Technologies, Yiming served as a Senior Software Engineer from December 2019 to January 2021, followed by a role at Google in April 2024. Yiming’s previous position at The MathWorks involved designing features for the Simulink Test product family from June 2016 to October 2019. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant role at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where Yiming contributed to theoretical methods in solid-state chemistry and developed a standard GUI software for figure design from November 2011 to May 2016. Yiming began an academic career as an Undergraduate Researcher at Peking University, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. An educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics from Peking University.
