Yin Ding

Yin Ding is an Engineering Manager at Google, where they lead initiatives in Kubernetes Hardening, GKE Security, and Anthos Security. Yin previously served as a Senior Architect at Pure Storage and held the position of Chief Virtualization Technologist/Director at Futurewei. They also worked as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at VMware and as a Software Development Engineer at both Microsoft and Expedia, Inc. Yin is a co-founder and maintainer of KubeEdge and has contributed to the CNCF TOC. They are currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Arizona State University, along with additional degrees from Tsinghua University.
