Ying Zhang has over 15 years of experience in software engineering and leadership roles at leading technology companies. At Microsoft from 2005 to 2010, Ying served as a Software Design Engineer focused on test automation for the Microsoft Extensible Storage Engine and participated in the Exchange Active Sync test team. Progressing to Senior Software Engineering Manager, Ying led test teams for Calendar features in Exchange/Office 365 and mobile applications. Ying also contributed to Windows Embedded Device Manager as a Senior Software Engineering Manager. After positions at Qualtrics as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineering Manager, Ying joined Google in October 2019 as a Software Engineering Manager in Google Cloud Platform. Ying holds a Ph.D. in Computer Networking and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, along with a Bachelor's degree in Control Science from Xiamen University.
