Yiran Liu

Yiran Liu is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in the financial sector. They worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Scotiabank from 2019 to 2021 and as a Data Scientist at BMO Financial Group in 2018. Yiran has held analytical roles at major companies including Microsoft, where they serve as a Data & Applied Scientist II, and Google, where they are currently a Senior Data Scientist in Research. They have also gained valuable experience as an Investment Manager at PhoenixTree Capital and have completed internships at CITIC Securities Company Limited and Gobi Partners. Yiran is pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and is studying Banking & Finance at Universität Zürich, alongside finance at Zhejiang University.
