Yiwen Mu

Yiwen Mu is a UX lead and manager at Google Commerce, where they build the retail merchant experience for all Google products. Prior to their current role, they served as a UX design lead/manager at Google from 2018 to 2021, focusing on merchant products for Google Maps. Yiwen has extensive experience in design management, having led a team at Samsung Health from 2015 to 2018, and previously worked as a senior interaction designer at Motorola Mobility, where they contributed to innovative wearable products. They hold an MFA in Design Thinking and Design Management from the Herron School of Art + Design and a ME in Industrial Design from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
