Yiyu Chen

Yiyu Chen is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in statistical analysis and forecasting across prominent technology companies. Beginning with an internship at Baidu, Yiyu conducted descriptive analysis and applied multivariate statistics on user query data. Subsequently, at Microsoft, Yiyu worked on various forecasting projects, leveraging traditional statistical models and machine learning algorithms, including Recurrent Neural Networks. A role at Uber focused on standardizing business metrics and implementing anomaly detection methods. Currently, at Google, Yiyu utilizes advanced data science techniques. Prior experience includes a statistician internship at The Lubrizol Corporation, where predictive modeling and automation processes were implemented. Yiyu holds a Master’s Degree in Statistics from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Statistics from Renmin University of China.
