Yu-Chi Cheng is an experienced software engineer with a background in systems software and performance optimization. Cheng worked at NVIDIA from June 2012 to August 2013 as a Senior Systems Software Engineer on the CUDA Driver Team, bridging CUDA programs with NVIDIA GPUs. Following this role, Cheng contributed to Apple from May 2014 to July 2018 as a Software Engineer focused on OS performance and power, developing performance triaging tools for iOS and macOS and optimizing battery life for macOS devices. Since July 2018, Cheng has been employed at Google as a Software Engineer, working on the Edge TPU. Yu-Chi Cheng holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Taiwan University.
