Yu Liang is a skilled engineer with experience in both hardware and software development. Initiating a career at Ericsson as an Engineering Intern, Yu progressed to roles at Arm as a Design Engineer and Graduate Design Engineer, before joining Intel Corporation as a SoC Design Engineer. Subsequently, expertise in software engineering was leveraged at YouTube, focusing on database warehouse development, and is currently applied at Google, working on Spanner. Yu holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Southern California, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, and has attended summer school in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley.
