Yu-Sheng Chen is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and video engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Google since May 2017, Yu-Sheng leads on-device machine learning development and is recognized for innovative use of Generative AI to enhance data processing and quality assurance. Previous roles at Google include Video Engineering Lead and Senior Software Engineer, where Yu-Sheng contributed to multiple Nest camera products launched between 2017 and 2021. Prior positions include software engineering internships at Facebook and a significant tenure at MediaTek as a Senior Camera Software Engineer. Yu-Sheng holds a Master’s Degree in Computational & Mathematical Engineering from Stanford University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
