Yu Wang

Yu Wang is a skilled software engineer with a strong background in algorithm development and cloud technology. At Cornell University, Yu implemented a softmax regression algorithm and developed a parallel stochastic gradient descent version of logistic regression for FPGA. As a research assistant at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Yu contributed to indoor network speed testing and developed a pedestrian dead reckoning algorithm using mobile sensors. Yu's experience includes a senior software engineer role at Google, focusing on cloud asset inventory, as well as previous software engineering internships where Yu developed clustering algorithms and served data pipelines. Yu holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Columbia University.
