Yujie Hui has a solid background in software engineering and research, with experience at notable companies including NovuMind Inc., Meta, and Google. At NovuMind Inc., Yujie deployed a LiDAR-based 3D object detection application and optimized its performance using parallel computing techniques. During a tenure at Meta, Yujie implemented and enhanced a hierarchical Allreduce algorithm in UCC, focusing on GPU resource impact on collective communication. Currently serving as a Software Engineer Intern at Google since August 2025, Yujie is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University, having previously earned both a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University.
