Yusi Zhang

Yusi Zhang is a Senior Software Engineer at Google, a position they have held since 2023, after joining the company in 2019 to develop client middleware for communicating with FIDO2 authenticators. Prior to their tenure at Google, Yusi completed a PhD in Computer Science at the University of California, Davis, where their main research focused on provable security in symmetric-key cryptography. Yusi has experience in various web development technologies and has worked on projects such as the Xiaocundayou WeChat mini-program and the UCD CSSA website. They also held internships at WePay and Irdeto, where they further developed their interest in Java web development and cryptographic techniques.
