Zane Shahroody is an experienced legal professional with a distinguished background in corporate counsel and senior legal roles. Zane began his career at Quantum, serving as Corporate Counsel from May 1997 to July 1999, and continued in a similar position at NetManage until May 2000. Zane then progressed to Savvis, where Zane held the title of Senior Counsel from May 2000 to April 2006, providing legal support for Exodus Communications, Inc. and Cable & Wireless America. Most recently, Zane worked at Google in December 2024 as Senior Director of Global Networking Solutions and Senior Director of Legal, leading the legal team for Google’s Internet Infrastructure and Google Cloud Platform and Workspace. Zane holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The George Washington University Law School and both a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Relations and Affairs and Economics, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California, Davis.
