Ziwei Peng

Ziwei Peng has a strong background in software engineering and technical leadership, with experience spanning over a decade. After completing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore in 2014, Ziwei worked as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the university from 2011 to 2014. Following that, a role as a Software Engineer at Sea focused on iOS and payment platforms was held from June 2014 to June 2016. Ziwei then joined Google, initially as a Senior Software Engineer working on Google Pay until March 2021, before advancing to a Tech Lead Manager position at ByteDance, overseeing user growth, ads, and CRM from April 2021 to June 2022. Currently, Ziwei serves as a Staff Software Engineer at Google, leading the Flutter Infrastructure and Google Pay since June 2022. Additionally, Ziwei gained further academic exposure through coursework in computer science at UC San Diego in 2012.
