James Valeii

James Valeii has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. James is currently working as a PHP Developer at goop.com since August 2022. Previously, they worked at No Borders, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer from February 2021 to August 2022.

Before that, James was the Founder and Web Developer at Boiling Pot Media from April 2010 to March 2021. In this role, they were responsible for complete brand development, web services, graphic design, content composition, and consultation for websites of all scales. James also provided hosting, education, and crisis solutions.

From September 2012 to September 2014, James worked as a Development Director at Vine Neighborhood Association. James composed and implemented the organization's fund development program, ensured compliance with funding reporting requirements, and developed their website and digital marketing materials.

James also served as an Edison Vine Sustainable Communities Initiative Program Facilitator at Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) from August 2011 to September 2012.

Additionally, they worked as a Promotional Materials Production and Social Communication Manager at Eater's Guild from May 2010 to May 2012. In this role, they participated in farming operations and specialized in producing marketing materials for digital and print production.

Earlier in their career, James had internships as a Content, Web, and Graphic Design Intern at KalamazooParent.com in April and May 2011, and as a Writing and Rhetoric Intern at Kalamazoo Collective Housing from April to September 2010.

James Valeii obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Rhetoric & Writing and Urban & Regional Planning from Western Michigan University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including "Understanding Structured Data" from Plugin Yoast in February 2021, "Google Tag Manager Fundamentals" from Google in July 2021, and "Google Analytics for Power Users" from Google in March 2021.
