William Mitchell

William Mitchell has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. William started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Fidelity Investments in 1997 and later worked as a Principal Software Engineer and Development Manager/Principal Software Developer. During this time, they gained comprehensive knowledge of enterprise data warehousing, ETL development, and data mining in the Financial Services industry.

In 2010, William founded and served as the Managing Editor of nereusmedia publishing, where they were responsible for the day-to-day operations and shaping of the company's publishing program and digital social media.

William then joined dwp | design worldwide partnership in 2015 as the Group Business Applications Director, managing and developing the Cloud Platform and structure to support marketing and business development. William also led the migration of the company to Google Apps and instructed training programs for staff.

In 2017, William founded pontos fathom press, an independent publisher of print books and digital social media. As the Founder and Publisher, they oversaw the selection, production, marketing, and distribution processes for new works of writing.

Since 2017, William has been with GoPomelo, where they held multiple roles. William worked as the Head of Cloud Platform Professional Services, leading the development of technical solutions and translating business needs into technical requirements. William then served as the Head of Application Modernization, delivering innovative services and consultancy on Google Cloud and various technologies. Currently, they hold the position of Solution Partner Manager, maintaining relationships with strategic partners and assessing new partnership opportunities across Southeast and North Asian regions.

William Mitchell obtained their Bachelor's degree from Boston University, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Prior to that, they attended HK High School from 1982 to 1986, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for their high school education. In terms of additional certifications, William has obtained various certifications in the field of AI, machine learning, deep learning, and technology strategy. William has certifications from institutions such as LinkedIn, DeepLearning.AI, and Twilio Training, with certifications obtained as recently as 2021.
