Patrick Burkert has been working in the tech industry since 2011. Patrick began their career as a Co-Founder of Zeitfenster, a mobile startup focused on Augmented Reality and Transmedia Storytelling. Patrick was responsible for Business Development, Project Management, User Experience Design, Conceptual Design, and Information Architecture. In 2013, they founded Go-PopUp, an international marketplace for renting temporary stores, and served as both Founder and Chief Marketing Officer. From 2018 to 2020, they were the Director Sales DACH at TravelPerk, a business travel platform. In 2020, they became an Angel Investor for Oliva, an online therapy platform, and in 2021, they became an Angel Investor for Circles.house, a global boutique co-living platform. Additionally, in 2021, they were an Advisor for dada-days, an organization empowering young artists and craftsmen, and a Growth Marketing Advisor and Growth Consultant for Seqera Labs, a provider of open source workflow orchestration software. Finally, they are currently a Venture Manager at Campus Founders, a venture builder program empowering and accelerating founders and innovators to launch impact-creating startups in Germany and the broader international market.
Patrick Burkert obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Electronic Media from Stuttgart Media University between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Online Media from Hochschule Furtwangen between 2004 and 2009. In 2005 and 2006, they studied Digital Media at Riverside City College.
