Eric Penrod

Eric Penrod is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in acoustics and audio quality. Currently serving as the Director of Image Quality and Audio at GoPro since May 2015, Eric contributes to the goal of helping people share meaningful moments. Prior roles include Acoustic Engineer at Zebra Technologies, where Eric focused on developing enterprise data capture and delivery devices, and Audio & Display Engineering Manager at BlackBerry, overseeing the development of BlackBerry handsets. Additionally, Eric worked as an Acoustic Mechanical Engineer at Motorola, specializing in iDEN handsets. Eric holds a Master of Engineering in Acoustics from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
