Peter Gotcher

Peter Gotcher is the Chairman of Dolby Labs, a position held since 2009. They co-founded Digidesign in 1983 and served as Chairman and CEO through its IPO and subsequent acquisition by Avid. Gotcher has also held leadership roles at various companies, including Chairman and investor at Jaunt VR, and co-founder of Topspin Media, both of which were acquired by larger corporations. Additionally, they contributed to the growth of multiple technology ventures, serving on boards and as an investor in companies like GoPro and Pandora. Gotcher earned a BA in English from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating in 1981.
