Mike Taylor has over 35 years of experience in various roles at Gorbel Inc., starting in 1982. Mike began as a Drafter, responsible for configuring custom products. Mike then became a Product Specialist, handling orders and applications engineering for new product ventures. In 1988, they took on the role of Production Control / Product Specialist, improving product shipments' timeliness. From 1992 to 2004, they served as the Engineering Manager, overseeing engineering, R&D, and product development activities, leading to a 500% sales growth. Mike then became the Order Fulfillment Manager, directing all order fulfillment activities for the Cleveland Tramrail product line. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Application Engineering and After Sale Service, responsible for overseeing the activities of application engineering and after-sale service departments, maintaining involvement in patent applications and product liability support. Prior to joining Gorbel, Mike Taylor worked as a Drafter at Hartman Sales Corporation.

Mike Taylor earned an A.A.S. degree in Math and Physics from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1982-1983. Prior to that, they completed an AAS degree in Civil Tech from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology in 1979-1981. Mike also holds several certifications, including a Service Capability & Performance Certified Support Manager from Service Strategies obtained in 2015, a Certificate of Completion in Leading with Emotional Intelligence from the American Management Association obtained in 2013, and a Certificate of Completion in Getting Results Without Authority from the American Management Association obtained in 2012.
