Chris Lapoint

Chris Lapoint is the current COO at Gordon Technologies. Prior to that, they spent 15 years at Pathfinder Schlumberger as the Field Quality Champion. In that role, they were responsible for ensuring the field’s compliance to quality standards and processes, assisting with quality investigations, leading quality initiatives, and focusing on location process improvement projects.

During their time at Pathfinder Schlumberger, Chris was successful in monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and quickly addressing Service Quality trends, which led to an increase in Mean Time Between Failure. Chris also achieved Non-Productive Time (NPT) targets set by Headquarters each year through Quality initiatives instituted throughout the Southern region.

Chris has a proven track record of conducting Quality investigations and developing effective Remedial Work Plans which minimized the risk of a re-occurring incident. Chris is also skilled in preparing and presenting Service Quality reviews to clients, which assured a clear understanding of the root cause and the actions being taken to minimize or eliminate that root cause. This objective fostered confidence in our company and left the Client with a strong sense of professionalism.

One of Chris’s most notable accomplishments was implementing Standard Work Instructions for field operations that ensured all processes and procedures were followed. This had a positive impact on the overall quality of the company’s products and services.

Chris Lapoint has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Chris Lapoint reports to Terry Frith, CEO. They work with Ben Frith - VP of Engineering, Chris Koranek - President, and Hunter Simmons - Director of Data Analytics, R&M Manager.
