Jason McCarthy

Jason McCarthy is the Co-Founder and CEO of GORUCK, serving since January 2008, and emphasizes the potential of rucking to surpass running in popularity. Additionally, McCarthy co-founded Sandlot Technology Inc. in July 2020, aiming to foster community fitness and social connections in accessible outdoor spaces. McCarthy's military experience includes serving as a Special Forces Communications Sergeant with the US Army from October 2003 to October 2008, with deployments to Iraq, Europe, and West Africa. Prior to military service, McCarthy worked as an analyst at Milestone Merchant Partners, LLP and DME. Educationally, McCarthy holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Economics from Emory University.
